  • Jethro Rothe-Kushel

Some stories lead to tragedy while others lead to transformation. Jethro has spent 20 years studying what stories make the greatest impact in transforming human lives.

After graduating from Poly and Dartmouth, he started his career studying stories of people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. A series of documentaries he produced led him to work with a local leader, who with the help of voters, raised $3 billion to fight homelessness in Los Angeles and has provided permanent homes for 23,692 Angelenos.

He has produced 24 movies and television series, the Oscars and was elected as the youngest Vice President and National Board Member of the Producers Guild of America where he has represented 8,700 top producers of film, television, and digital content. His work also helped convince Star Wars creator George Lucas to invest $1 billion in bringing the first museum of narrative art to Los Angeles in 2022.

He is the founding President of Dartmouth Alumni in Entertainment Association, Ivy Entertainment, and Entertainment Research Institute and serves as Director of Communications for Consumer & Business Affairs in LA County.

He partnered with former agents from ICM, APA, Innovative and Gersh and other execs from Fox and CBS who helped guide the careers of Christopher Nolan, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Guillermo Del Toro on Scenario, a management and production company, to help guide the careers of the next generation of the world’s most significant cinematic storytellers.

  • Sophie Schleifer

Launching her career as we speak, Sophie Schleifer is passionate about production and visual storytelling. Founding the first ever student production company on her college campus, Sophie has produced and directed three different series with content ranging from perspectives from athletes of color to student musicians’ original work. She is passionate about promoting accessibility and opportunity to video production within her community, which led her to create a nation-wide student network, named SLOP Studios, geared to stimulate artist collaboration and transcend university bubbles.

Sophie is in her senior year at Haverford College and dreams of becoming a producer who calls the shots and uplifts impactful stories in the community.
